The Wednesday Wish List // 9.25.13

GOLD CHEESE KNIVES // I love anything in gold so of course I'm going to be down with a gold cheese serving set. This makes for a great holiday hostess gift too - Thanksgiving will be here before we know it!

MONOGRAMMED BRACELETS // I love these bracelets.  They are reasonably priced and would be great to wear stacked with your spouse's name/initials or kids too!

LEOPARD FLATS // Every year I get a new pair of leopard flats and these look quality -- I consider leopard print a neutral at this point, it just goes with everything!

I was in Charlottesville, VA this past weekend for a wedding and saw some good friends I haven't seen for awhile.  One of which is my friend Jess, from the blog Cheese Please by Jess. We were sharing our favorite blogs of the moment and hers was Elements of Style (mine is Peppermint Bliss). I started going through it yesterday and could not stop, it is an amazing blog - the perfect mix of eye candy and quality narrative.  So in honor of my immersion in Elements of Style, my Wednesday Wish List has a few things that I bookmarked along the way. LBE already had EOS in the blog roll - she doesn't miss a thang, you girls are in good hands!

LIGHT FIXTURE 1 & 2 // We are definitely getting one of these fixtures for our entryway.

IPHONE CASE // I love this iPhone case!

PET BED & SPRAY // I had not seen either one of these doggy delights!  Peyton will require both stat! 

Bonus:

EOS is a fan of these Spanx leggings. I am a loyal Lululemon-er, but I am willing to give them a try!

The Wednesday Wish List // 9.18.13

JACKET // I’m looking for a lightweight jacket to ease me into fall since there’s already a chill in the air in New England!  I’m feeling olive this season.

BRACELET // This newly-released BaubleBar find is only $36 – looks like something J.Crew would sell for at least double that price!

BLENDER // I totally missed the memo on registering for a quality blender when I got married. Sure, a Vitamix would be amazing, but I’m not dropping that kind of money on a blender. This one has awesome reviews. I think it’s time to put my old Oster (which struggles with a basic smoothie) out of its misery.

JUICE PLUS // I'm not wishing for this anymore – I actually got them in the mail this week and am super excited!  I decided after rave reviews to try Juice Plus!  It is on the expensive side for vitamins, but a savings if you buy smoothies or are juicing.  If you have any questions about them, let us know and if you decide to try them, buy them from my friend Kristi and she can also help answer any questions!

DRESS // This would be an amazing score if you have a warm weather trip planned in the November/December time-frame. I love Charlie Jade dresses because they are flowy and fun – a perfect addition to your resort wear collection.  Bonus, there's free shipping with no minimum all week on South Moon Under!

STEPHANIE JOHNSON // This is a deal you cannot pass on, I was so shocked when I came across it and saw the clearance prices!  I have expressed my unconditional love for Stephanie Johnson many times, her bags are SUPERIOR to all others – trust me I know.  I guess she must have done a deal with HSN and my guess is the viewers didn't know what they were looking at...that is the only explanation for these prices.  To put this into perspective, the train case is $22.00 on HSN, on Stephanie's website (we are first name basis) the train case is $75.00 - that is $31.00 of savings people!  I've said enough - happy shopping!!!

The Wednesday Wish List // 7.10.13

CRAB EARRINGS // I'm a Cancer and got married in Maryland so crabs are my jam.  These earrings are super cute, and cheap--only $22, to rock all summer long!

BURL WOOD MIRROR // I've had my eye on this mirror for a while now...I love the lines and material, all I need is a bigger house to put it in! ;-)

WATCH // I desperately need a new watch and I'm in love with this tortoise shell one!

LULULEMON SKIRTS // I just purchased this adorable skirt - such a deal for only $39!!!!  I got it in pizzaz.  I feel like it will be great for running based on the reviews and also super cute for errands with a tee or tank top. Their white version is perfect for the tennis enthusiasts!

HEELS // Just recently made my first purchase from Sole Society and I was very pleased.  I am eyeing these now, they are the perfect heel height!  Can't beat these prices either!!

IKAT RUNNER // This would be perfect for summer entertaining on my outside table.

J.CREW NECKLACE // I love tortoise shell anything, especially in the summer.  This would be an awesome layering piece to dress up or down!

CONVERSE SNEAKERS // I love Converse sneakers and these leopard ones definitely need to be added to my fall wardrobe shopping list.

OSCAR DE LA RENTA EARRINGS // These are on sale and would be perfect to wear to any summer wedding event!

BANANA REPUBLIC DRESS // I love this dress and I love it even more because it is called a patio dress.  I love having my clothes sectioned off like work clothes, evening wear, resort wear -- I think I am adding a category called patio wear which will be a collection of breezy summer dresses perfect for the warm months of cookouts and back porch happy hours.

KENDRA SCOTT RING // I cannot believe that this ring is on sale for $24.97 - when things are 50% off I lose all financial rationality!

IPHONE CASE // I love changing out my iPhone cover, but unfortunately I still have the 4S and so my options are becoming limited however, I do love this case.

The Wednesday Wish List // 6.19.13

CLARINS CRYSTAL LIP BALM // I'm not a big lipstick person, but I'd be willing to give these a try in either Rose or Mandarin.

CAPRI BLUE VOLCANO CANDLE // I walked in Anthropologie a few weekends ago and was instantly drawn to a lit candle in the store. It ended up being called Volcano-the perfect summery mix of tropical fruits, sugared oranges, lemons and limes. So psyched it's for sale on Amazon Prime too!

NIKE SNEAKERS // I'm so overdue for some new sneakers and the look of these have me sold. It's the gold, obviously.

COVER-UP // Summer officially begins on Friday which means bathing suit season will be in full swing! That also means cover-up season will be in full swing for me too!  I LOVE this one!!!!

WATCH // It is time for me to get a new watch - the Michael Kors one is the front runner, but how fun is this crystal one???

MAKE-UP BRUSH // While searching the NARS website yesterday, I came across this brush. I was intrigued again last night while catching up on magazines because my iPad needed charging and I saw the brush again featured in InStyle!  The multi-functional design of the Kabuki Yachiyo Brush, with its tapered dome head, makes it excellent for defining cheekbones, highlighting the complexion, and blending and diffusing color on or around the eye area.  It is getting rave reviews and is def on my wish list!

MONOGRAM STUDS // If you're a regular reader, then you probably know by now that yellow gold and monograms are my jam.  I would make these my everyday earrings for sure!

CRUISER BIKE // I used to go on bike rides all the time with my Dad growing up -- I really miss not having a bike anymore for leisurely rides.

CROSSBODY BAG // I am a notorious big bag lover, however for quick errands and city trips I really something more compact - I'm in love this one!

KATE SPADE BAG // I am sooo in love with this bag!

NAPKINS // I've had my eye on these since the holidays, and now they're on sale big time -- they make me want to host a party stat!

STAPLER // I adore this gold acrylic stapler, it would look super chic on any desk!

CLUTCH // Lots of great stuff at the Loft right now, loving the bright colors and beads on this!  This bracelet is great too!

PAREO // This looks like a regular-sized pashmina being utilized as a bottom cover-up…I need to see if I have any that could work like this, if not this would be a great print.

NECKLACE // This is super cute for summer and on sale for only $29.50!!!

The Wednesday Wish List // 5.15.13

LEOPARD RUG // I've had a recent urge to update the decor in my bedroom -- nothing major, but a new area rug is definitely high on my list!  

ANCIENT GREEK SANDALS // I've only heard great things about these sandals made in Greece -- they are supposed to be really comfortable!

NECKLACE // When this necklace came out a few weeks ago, it sold out in hours.  It just came back in stock, and I could not resist ordering it with my handy vault points. I love BaubleBar pieces and I know this necklace is going to get tons of use!

Amber is enjoying her last week in Europe, so we have a special guest poster this week, our dear friend Jess!

FLORAL DRESS // I'm obsessed with Karen Millen, I have a ton of her dresses for my work wardrobe!  This little number will be perfect for an after wedding, sassy summer purchase!

NECKLACE // Lauren, Amber, and I had brunch in Georgetown a few weeks ago and I was staring down this chick at the table across from us.  I totally wanted her Maya Brenner necklace!

EYELASHES // I'm getting married next weekend and I really want these lashes!  They are a bit pricey for a pair of falsies, however you can wear them up to 25 times and they are 100% Mink!  A total must have in "Strike-a-pose!"

TUNIC DRESS // I am all about wearing tunics in the spring & summer.  I'm loving every style from Sail to Sable - isn't this striped dress just screaming for a July 4th fête!?!

SAM EDELMAN SANDALS // These sandals are a bit cray, but there's something about them that just calls out to me - why aren't they made in 11's?! So irritating.

J.CREW BRACELET // I wear this J.Crew necklace on the regular, so I think I need this bracelet to pair with it!

SHOWER HEAD // I have read that using a filtered shower head can help preserve color treated hair and keep your skin from drying out.

SEYCHELLES HEELS // These could be a great spring/summer staple - your go-to for back yard/outside events - no heel sinking.

NEEDLEPOINT PILLOW // This Jonathan Adler pillow is a post-Rome necessity!

WRAPPING CART // I have a large family so it seems every month I have a birthday gift to wrap.  I’m constantly scrambling for wrapping supplies so this cart would (hopefully) keep me organized!

EXTRA LARGE CHAMPAGNE GLASS // A champagne glass that holds 4 servings at once (aka the entire bottle) – yes, please!

OUTDOOR UMBRELLA // Now that it's May, I'm itching to get my back deck set up for the summer season. Even though we just came back from Mexico, I’m already missing it!! I'm thinking this thatched umbrella would do the trick to transport me back there whenever I'm outside!

WINE COASTER WITH CORK // How cute would this be on the table??

BEADED CLUTCH // I came across this clutch via one of my favorite daily blog reads, Le Catch. Between all the jewels, tassels, and bright colors, I don't think it's possible to find a more fun accessory for summer!

JENNIFER ZEUNER MONOGRAM RING // This ring has been on my wish list ever since I got her monogram necklace (a daily staple!) five years ago.  I just need to bite the damn bullet and buy this amazingness!

JACK ROGERS GOLD WEDGES // Gold goes with everything and these classic wedges are versatile enough for any summer event.

LULULEMON SKIRT // I love Lululemon skirts—they are good for running, tennis, or errands!

VACUUM BEADS // I always want my house to smell good and have been dying to give these Beach-scented vacuum beads a try!

SUPERGA SNEAKERS // I bought the cutest pair of Converse for walking the streets of Rome, but I'm considering purchasing these as well—what color??

The Wednesday Wish list - 4.17.13 // Shopbop Edition

Wow, Wednesday totally snuck up on us -- hopefully the rest of week goes by just as fast!

One of our favorite sites, Shopbop, is having a 20% off Friends & Family sale today & tomorrow!  Just enter "wearefamily13" at check-out to save!  Here is what we're wishing for from their site...

EARRINGS // I love me some hot pink and these earrings would add a fun pop of color to any outfit.
COVER-UP DRESS // This is such a cute cover-up for the pool or beach, I'd probably never take it off in the summer.
NECKLACE // I adore this necklace -- such a great gift to give or get. The chain is adjustable so I would definitely layer a bunch of these in meaningful letters together.
(Side note: one of my favorite things about Shopbop is how they always show the jewelry on a model, so you have an idea of sizing. Why don't more sites do this?!)

All of my picks are items I want for my upcoming trip to Italy and Greece at the beginning of May - packing has begun....

TIEKS FLATS // I've been staying with family in DC this week and have been walking everywhere.  I need a good pair of flats - like yesterday.  I'll happily take any color from the Tieks line!

LOCKET // I love Paris and I really love this!

CROSS BODY BAG // I'm searching for a classic cross body for our upcoming trip to Rome, I think this is the one!

The Wednesday Wish List - 4.3.2013

FREAK EARRINGS // My inner-circle would understand that these earrings would be a totally normal thing for me to buy.  Freak is my favorite word.  I consider myself one, and refer to my loved ones as freakbags or freakwads all the time.  It’s really become a term of endearment at this point. Ha!

SPERRY TOP-SIDERS // Sperry’s are obviously a coastal-living wardrobe staple, so of course I need the gold ones.

HENRI BENDEL HANDBAG // I saw this bag on Henri Bendel’s instagram feed and instantly fell in love – I love that you can rock it both ways too! Big bags are totally my jam.

MISSONI DRESS // If money were of no object, I would be purchasing this dress and adding it to my resort wear collection.

J.CREW NECKLACE // This is such a great layering piece!  I need to find the mint green version too!

GRIDDLE SET // I really want this! Definitely necessary for those times when your grill runs out of propane.

The Wednesday Wish List - 3.27.2013

PANAMA HAT // I'm looking for a new hat for the summer, and one just like this is totally on my wishlist.  As much as I love being tan, wrinkles don’t need any assistance in developing on my face, thank you very much.

COCKTAIL SHAKER // I mean, it's gold and it’s large – so amazing for a home bar! When you're the one making the drinks you realize quickly, ain’t nobody got time for a normal-sized shaker.

BENEFIT FINE ONE ONE // This cheek illuminator glides on sheer in three different shades. Perfect for on-the-go beauty.

DRESS //  Might need this dress, could be good for the impromptu spring invite – and it's now on sale for under $50!

SUNGLASSES // I am in search of new ones and haven't made a decision yet, but these Tory Burch sunglasses are on the list of potentials!
VELVET CLUTCH // Would love to pick up this off season item – it would add texture to any outfit.

The Wednesday Wish List

We always have an endless wish list of items to be purchased so we thought maybe if we put them out into the universe, they will magically manifest in our homes, LOL!  So every Wednesday, we'll share the 3 things we're currently coveting...

OUTDOOR PILLOWS // Even though it's only the first day of spring, I am already counting down the days until summer.  I cannot wait to start entertaining outside on my deck and these pillows are totally a necessary purchase to liven up our conversation set.

GOLD LEAF COASTERS // Amber & I were just in Williams-Sonoma and an identical set was selling for $129, these beauties are only $39 and so freaking fabulous I can't stand it!  My desk needs one of these on it like whoa.

CLARISONIC MIA 2 // I am quickly turning into a beauty product whore (just like Amber!) and this limited-edition pink leopard print Clarisonic just jumped to the top of my wish list.

HERE & THERE TEES // These are all so cute, but at a minimum I require these two because I am the crazy dog lady and love anything nautical.

WASTE BASKET // Need to purchase this stat (it's on sale) to match my bathroom magazine basket. 

DRESS // I definitely need this for our friend Jess' impending Mexico Bachy next month!
